Jimmy and I are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends in our lives. This post includes some older pictures when Mary Burke had not even hit the double digits in weight, but I would like to include them here. Mary Burke is very lucky to have four great grandparents who were there when she entered this world. I can't imagine what it must feel like to see your baby's baby have a baby (try saying that 3 times fast). The name Mary Burke, in fact, comes from Mary Jeter (Jimmy's grandmother) and Burke (my grandfather); and I am confident that Mary Burke will grow up to possess the same wonderful qualities that these people possessed. Unfortunately, we lost Jeter about two months after Mary Burke was born, but her namesake will live on in our little ladybug. Enjoy!
